TERMS:

• • • ARTWORK
When artwork is submitted to Vanguard Manufacturing for reproduction with an order, Vanguard trusts that the purchaser is submitting the artwork in full compliance with state and/or federal laws governing the use of copyrights, trademarks, signature marks, etc. The purchaser agrees to hold Vanguard blameless for any damages, lawsuits, or any other unlawful acts resulting from the reproduction or use of said artwork.

  1. Acceptance of Artwork:
    Clear, black and white, camera-ready art should accompany your order. Charges will be applied to art that needs to be redrawn or touched-up. Approval will be requested prior to production.
  2. Acceptable Camera-Ready artwork :
    a) Sharp, black and white art produced on glossy photographic paper. All graphics and typesetting included.
    b) Artwork generated in one of the following software applications:
    Illustrator 10.0 (or earlier) saved as .EPS
    Freehand 8.0 (or earlier) exported as .EPS
    Corel Draw 8.0 (or earlier) exported as .EPS
    Photoshop 6 (or earlier) saved as .EPS
    *We continually upgrade our software; please contact us regarding upgraded versions.
  3. Acceptable Media:
    3.5” diskette, CD ROM disk, Zip disk.
    Files may also be e-mailed (call for details).
  4. Additional Art Charges:
    Artwork will be charged at $30/hr with a $15 minimum charge.
  5. Unacceptable Artwork:
    The following formats are not considered camera-ready art:
    Fax transmissions, photocopies, GIF files downloaded from an internet web site, blue book cuts, metallic labels, decals, patches, or business cards.
  6. Paper Proof:
    A paper proof of artwork will be returned for customer approval prior to production in 3 to 4 business days.

 

• • • ORDER PROCESSING
An order confirmation receipt will be sent after order is placed. This must be returned with customer’s signature before production will begin.

  1. Sales Tax Exemption:
    Certificates will be required prior to all sales order processing. All sales that occur before receipt of such documentation will be subject to state and local taxation. No tax credits will be issued on sales orders that occur before receiving said documentation.
  2. Normal Production Time (after approval of art):
    -Depending on quantity, we produce most items in 15 days or less.
  3. Order Change/ Cancellation:
    All changes are subject to $50.00 charge. No changes or cancellations allowed after production has begun - any expenses incurred will be invoiced.
  4. Merchandise Returns:
    No returns accepted without prior approval or issuance of returned good authorization number. A restocking fee will be charged if returned good are the result of customer error. NO CLAIMS WILL BE HONORED 30 DAYS BEYOND SHIPPING DATE.
  5. F.O.B.:

  6. Terms:
    Net 30 days F.O.B. shipping point, factory, with approved credit. Merchandise shipped C.O.D. upon approval only, and as an option to open account terms. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards are accepted. All returned checks are subject to a $50.00 handling charge and the account will be changed to C.O.D., cash or cashiers check. A late payment service charge of 1.5% per month is applied to any balance outstanding 30 days or more beyond payment due date.
  7. Minimum:
    There are no minimums per item or per customization options.
  8. Sample Policy:
    At this time we do not offer samples of our products. Please visit our offices to view samples in person.
  9. Additional Catalogs:
    First six (6) catalogs are free.
    $1.00 charge for each additional catalog.

 

• • • EMBROIDERY

  1. Existing Designs
    If the design submitted is on file with our company, please reference a previous order, unless this design was placed on a shirt, jacket or other soft good product. Please keep in mind that embroidery may respond differently to the fabric content of a wearable, which could necessitate an edit of the tape. In order to guarantee satisfaction and reduce spoilage, approval of the initial sew-out is imperative prior to production.
  2. Edit Charge
    In the event it becomes necessary to edit the existing tape (to ensure the quality of embroidery on the wearable or soft good product), a fee will be assessed. The same fee will apply for adding or deleting one line of copy to an existing tape. A fee will also apply if it is necessary to reduce the existing tape to fit the garment or good. The maximum enlargement or reduction is 20% of original size.
  3. New Designs
    If submitting a new design, please keep in mind that the quality of our finished product will only be as good as the art provided - clean, concise art is vital to the digitizing process. Allow 5-7 business days for digitizing of the new tape, after which a sew out will be sent for approval. For submissions of non camera-ready artwork, or for a logo design, a paper proof must be approval prior to the digitizing process and an art charge may also apply.

 

• • • STANDARD FEATURES

  1. We handcraft each leather handle using only the finest U.S. leather from The Herman Oak Leather Company. All leather handles are reinforced with double material when being attached to each bag.
  2. All zippers are top quality YKK brand with brass pulls.
  3. Leather handbag shoulder straps are constructed from doubled full 6 oz. leather.
  4. Nylon luggage shoulder straps are 1½” wide complimented with nickel plated hardware and a shoulder pad constructed of leather and material matching the bag. They are attached to each bag with a 1” solid D-ring, which is sewn into the seams of the bag with double full 6 oz. leather.
  5. Lining for the gun cases is a 1 1/8” sturdy, yet soft, synthetic sheepwool - the best lining for gun cases.
  6. Our luggage & handbags include brass feet to protect the bottom of the bag and allow it to stand on its own.
  7. All straps are reinforced with leather and material.
